Ironic musings

I don’t know, I get half way through a post on the importance of social interaction for the attractiveness of the current web, and then I don’t post anything for a month. What can I say? FirstLife social interaction is more fun than slaving away over a hot database, and can certainly take up as much time.
My problem (apart from a paucity of time) is that I seek perfection in everything I write, and will send hour trying to squeeze every last bit of goodness out of every paragraph. Maybe I should institute a system whereby dreadpiraterachel lovingly snacks me on the back of the head to make me move on. Or maybe I should stick to short form poetry.
I used to write single text message poems frequently, and I could finish one before bed time (unlike my blog posts).
As an experiment, I’ve written this using WordPress’ mobile site on my non-flash mobile phone, in the back of car. Autocompletion is both good and endiz (dodgy), but overall I’m impressed, and my head remains unsmacked.
